Last year was the biggest Driven By Art we’ve done yet — and it started with a kickoff party that set the tone for everything that followed.
Over 500 people came out to the art show. Seeing that many people in one room supporting something I once just wrote down in a journal was crazy. By the end of the night, we had raised over $15,000 for kids and families with disabilities. That’s the part that matters most to me.
But the show wasn’t the finish line.
It was the starting line.
The next morning, 25 drivers from Michigan, D.C., Minnesota, Chicago and beyond hit the road together. Some had never met before. Within a few hours, it didn’t matter.
We drove 1,200 miles across Michigan. Back roads, lake shore highways, small towns, random gas stations that turned into hour-long conversations. Early mornings. Late nights. Real connection.
What made it special wasn’t the type of cars or how fast we drove. It was the people. Watching friendships form in real time. Watching artists talk to engineers. Watching strangers become teammates.
Growing up in Michigan, cars were always around me. My whole family has been part of the automotive industry in some way. I just chose to step into it creatively. Driven By Art has become my way of honoring where I come from while building something new.
2025 felt different. It felt bigger than an event. It felt like a community finding its rhythm.
We’re bringing it back in October 2026. We’re expanding beyond Michigan this time. I’m not saying much yet.
But if last year showed us anything, it’s that this is just the beginning.
